OPI Miss You-niverse is a dusty eggplant creme that is perfect for the season. It is almost a one-coater, and the finish is so shiny and smooth. It's been a while since I've been impressed with an OPI shade, so I'm extra pleased with Miss You-niverse.

It stamps pretty well, too.

I'm going to see Sara Bareilles in concert today! This mani was inspired by the colors of her Blessed Unrest album.

So excited!

Nails Inc Baker Street is a fabulous cobalt creme. The color is so saturated and vibrant, which is why I think so many people love it. It also doesn't hurt that the formula is near perfection. Two coats that went on with no fuss.

might green polish swatch fiver

Butter London Fiver is light mint creme. It's by far my favorite from the Spring 2013 collection. Application wasn't perfect, but it was manageable. The formula was on the thin side, and it took three coats to get a smooth finish.

I wore Fiver for a full week and added a gradient when I started getting tipwear. I used Nails Inc. Royal Botanical Gardens.

Nails Ince Soho Mews tan texture nail polish
2 coats

Nails Inc. Soho Mews is a lovely shade of tan. For me, that's where the loveliness ends. Textured polish without any sparkle just looks gross to me. Soho Mews certainly doesn't look like any leather I own. I gave it a shot, and I'm now positive I won't be purchasing anymore of this particular finish.

I'd love this color in a creme finish. Any recs?

Nails Inc. Soho Mews retails for $12 and is available at Sephora inside JCP.

Nails Inc. Royal Botanical Gardens is the perfect mint green creme. It's not too yellow or too blue. It is just mint perfection.

2 coats

Nails Inc. Chelsea Physic Garden is a sky blue creme. I love that it's pastel, but it has a nice vibrancy to it.

2 coats

Nails Inc. Kensington Palace Gardens is a salmon pink creme. We already know how I feel about shades like this. I can never have too many. If you like this one, a cheaper alternative may be Finger Paints Gimme Some Sugar, it's just slightly pinker.

2 coats

Yes, it's labeled incorrectly. This is why I shouldn't label photos without the bottles in front of me. My guesses are always incorrect.

The formula on these is quite nice. They went on a little streaky but self-leveled quickly. They're also quite shiny without top coat.

Nails Inc. Trend Shades retail for $9.50 and are available at Sephora. There is a fourth polish (a red) in this collection, but I have yet to see it available in the U.S.

While shopping Butter London's Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, I had a feeling I'd seen Lovely Jubbly before. I couldn't make the connection, so I bought it anyway. Of course, it clicked as soon as I got home:

Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink, Butter London Lovely Jubbly

2 coats Rockstar Pink, 3 coats Lovely Jubbly

I'm usually super nitpicky about what I call a dupe, and I have no problem calling Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink a dupe for Butter London Lovely Jubbly. Or is it the other way around since Lovely Jubbly is newer? The only difference is that Rockstar Pink is slightly more dense than Lovely Jubbly. There is really no need to own both of these, though.

I wanted to try to show the slight difference in the opacity of these glitters. I do prefer the look of Lovely Jubbly layered, but again, it would be ridiculous to suggest owning both of these.

The formulas we comparable. I had no issues applying either one, and the consistencies were not too thick or thin. I prefer the SHXW brushes to Butter London's.

I would suggest skipping Lovely Jubbly (unless you collect BL) and going for the much more cost efficient Rockstar Pink.

Nails Inc. Portobello is a squishy coral neon - three of my favorite words. It's coral that definitely has more orange in it than pink or red. It's less red ad slightly lighter than Deborah Lippmann Party Girl, in case you were wondering.

The formula is a nice consistency, and I had no issues with applying this one.

I've accumulated so many neons in the past few weeks that I'm sure I have something that is similar to this. I will do a comp of some of my recent acquisitions. For the meantime, though, I'm glad I bought this.

Nails Inc. Portobello retails for $9.50 and is available at Sephora stores and online.

Nails Inc. Baker Street is a gorgeous cobalt blue creme. It is exceptionally vibrant but not a neon. The color is so rich, yet clean - it does not pull purple or green. Baker Street is just blue. What a perfect addition to my collection.

The formula is great. Smooth, self-leveling, and not too thick or thin

Nails Inc. Cheyne Walk is a purple to bronze orange duochrome. I also picked up some green in the photos, but it may have been my camera playing tricks on me. Cheyne Walk is similar in color and shift to Deborah Lippmann Private Dancer, but with more brushstrokes. I am not a fan.

This applied very well - smooth with a nice consistency.

You can see the flash of bronze and green in this picture. In person, the green is much more subtle.

This is not a keeper for me, especially since I have a very similar color with a better finish.

Nails Inc. Stratford was certainly an enigma to my camera. It is a really pretty pinky copper that shifts to a golden green. The color kind of reminds me of a less garish version of Orly Space Cadet. It's quite beautiful. The finish, however, is prone to brush strokes. A careful application (which I did not use for these swatches) will certainly help mitigate that issue.

Stratford is definitely reflective, which is something I failed to capture on camera. You will just have to take my word for it. It's no Layla, but it is metallic enough to not look frosty. The formula is quite thin, but it is very manageable.

I really love the colors in Stratford, so I am more than willing to forgive the brushstrokes. There are definitely ways to fix that.
