Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance

by - 03 November

2 coats

If I could have this in every color, I'd be a very happy camper. Bad Romance is a translucent black with fuchsia glitter and sequins. Gorgeous. I had no application issues. Just be sure to wait a bit between coats so you don't move the sequins around. It dries with some texture, but this shouldn't be an issue if you use a topcoat.

  3. you actually commented on my post from makeuptalk! my screen name is britscosmetics if it helps. why is deborah lipmann so pricey? what is behind her brand. the post was "high-end beauty: why do people pay the price." you mentioned about the dior luggage tag.

Just though I say high and thanks for commenting on the post. you have great nail colors. what do you recommend to take off glitter nail polish?

  4. Hi Brit! Thanks for the comment. DL is pricey because the creator is a celebrity manicurist and can get away with it imho, lol. The quality is great, but unless you're buying one of her unique shades (the glitters mainly), you could find cheaper alternatives.

Removing glitter is easy if you use the foil method thought up by someone amazing on the MUA nail board I believe. Basically just soak a cotton ball in polish remover, wrap a piece of foil around it, and wait 2 or 3 minutes. Slide the foil and cotton ball off, and your nail will be glitter free. The foil keeps the acetone from evaporating and, of course, keeps the cotton ball in place.

  5. wow! this is the nail polish effect I meant from the last post-its nicole by opi blues in the night. It has a similar effect. blues in the night has this similar effect but with the "chunky" glitter its more of a shimmer. You might like it. I bought it as a duo set from them. hope its still available.

they have become kinda vintagey. nicole by opi is still around
